Reflection

In the past month, Death has visited three times, twice to my extended family and a third time to the family of a close friend. Loss inspires reflection. I spent a lot of miles alone on the highway this past weekend with many hours to think and lots of things to think about. 

My writing may diverge into atypical areas in the coming weeks. Words follow thoughts, and thoughts are shadows of the spirit. For the moment, the spirit is wandering freely as it comes to grips with all that has happened and all that is left to come.
