New York Minute 41 - Walking In Darkness

Walking home from work the other evening, I noticed how dark it gets at this time of year.

I came to a block where I appeared to be the only pedestrian. I let out a loud belch and then realized that not more than ten feet away, a lady in a dark coat was standing and waiting for a bus.

"Excuse me!" I apologized as I dashed past. Suddenly, it didn't seem all that dark anymore.
