New York Minute 96 - Running Hot

I stopped by one of my regular coffee places last evening for a latte. When the barista saw me, he said, “Hey! I didn’t know you ran.”

The gears in my head cranked for a moment as I parsed his sentence. 

“Oh! You must have seen me while I was jogging this morning.”

“No, it was a couple of weeks ago,” the man recalled. “It was a really hot day. I don’t know how you can run in that heat.”
