Accepting Compliments

Never hesitate to accept an honest compliment. If the person means what they’re saying sincerely, appreciate the generosity of their spirit and let their kind words lift you up and make you feel special. They will feel special, too, because they took a risk to say what they did, and you accepted their gift with appreciation.

Life is tough. We need those little “high fives” to help us keep going. Accept a compliment like money in the bank, and then pay it forward with interest by complimenting others.

When you compliment someone, you make them feel terrific, and you leave the world a little better off than it was at the start of the day, a happier, warmer, more joyful planet, a place where people feel comfortable being who they really are because they are accepted and appreciated by others.
