United Shades of America

I have been wanting to comment on W. Kamau Bel's CNN show from Sunday night (United Shades of America). Bel interviewed and spent time time with a certain well known American hate organization that isn't too fond of people his his (ahem) complexion.

I feel that there's a lot to say in this topic; I just haven't fully been able to wrap my head around the experience of watching it. It was a good show but rather overwhelming in its shock value.

I will say this: Mr. Bel has some serious balls. He must have cajones the size of grapefruit to volunteer for that assignment. Lord Almighty! That took guts.
