Etiquette for Gentlemen - The Elevator

Gentlemen, when the elevator stops and the doors open, wait inside and let the ladies walk out of the car ahead of you. 

This practice has several advantages.

1. The ladies will feel respected. You will impress upon them that you are aware of their needs and that you are willing to make sacrifices for them.

2. In the event of gunfire or explosions, the ladies can act as human shields as you plan your evasive maneuvers and prepare to launch a counter attack.

3. If no violence/projectiles are present, you can still enjoy looking at the ladies' bottoms as they walk away from you. They won't mind, because they already feel honored and respected courtesy of your selfless chivalry.

4. If the ladies delay your progress by walking too slowly, you can rely on your superior speed and strength to push past them and leave them in a cloud of dust.

Remember that a gentleman always thinks of the lady first, and thinks of himself the rest of the time.
