Scream

If you hear a muffled scream
Please
Don't be alarmed
It's just my heart
Lashing out
Voicing its frustration
Lamenting loves and fortunes lost
Through ignorance
And inaction 
Hoping to have a chance again 
At success 
And satisfaction 
Hoping it can try again 
To practice what it's learned
