A Day In The Life Of A Software Developer

Specification: Make it red, white, and blue.

Developer: Red, white, and blue, is that what you want?

Business Analyst: Yes

Developer makes it red, white, and blue.

Business Analyst: It’s wrong. It was supposed to be purple and orange.

Manager: How did you get this wrong? Why didn’t you make it purple and orange?

Developer: The specification says, “Red, white, and blue.”

Crickets: Cheep-cheep! Cheep-cheep!

Manager: How soon can you make it purple and orange?
