People Need To Lighten Up

An actual conversation from earlier today.

Me: How was your Easter? 

Person 2: I don’t celebrate Easter. 

Me: But you were alive this past Sunday, correct? 

The person stands silently for a moment. Their expression indicates an internal struggle as they weigh the pros and cons of expressing their objection to my remark.

Person 2: It was okay, I guess.


Lighten up, people! Someone out is dealing with real problems.
