Choices

We don’t always make the best choices 

They’re not always thoughtful or kind 

Driving those daily decisions 

Are the haunts of our hearts and our minds 


But it’s the right of the living to make them 

Good, indifferent, or bad 

For when we are gone, dead and buried, 

There’s not one more choice to be had
